After 2023, we weren't going to miss NorthSide 2024. Same setup, same fillings, a bigger crew — and as it turned out, a bigger queue. We sold more than the year before.
What we hadn't booked in advance was the weather. NorthSide 2024 started on clean June grass and ended on a festival-defining layer of Danish mud. Our crew's boots will never be the same. Neither will the stand legs.
Mud or no mud, the queue kept coming.
If NorthSide 2023 was the year we found out people wanted this food, 2024 was the year we found out they'd queue for it in waterproofs.
